Books

There is a duality in my approach to the book. First of all, books have allowed my pictures to be seen at many homes and by many children and adults in Lithuania, Poland and most other countries in Europe and America. What was followed was recognition in the eyes of competition jurors: Premio Catalonya in Barcelona, Grand Prix in Belgrade and Bratislava. On the other hand, it has given a negative trait to my artistic biography. l "hired" my painting to the book and this way l have become associated with it for good. Today, after many years, I have to knock at new doors in order to be admitted to the family of "genuine painters".
